Starkrimson Pear Citrus Salad

2020-09-02T19:57:03+00:00

Created by: Meg Raines The vibrant colors of fall shine through in this festive salad, thanks to the deep red color of the Starkrimson pears. Pears are a natural fit with the earthy flavors of beets, and the citrus and spicy greens add a little zing to round out the flavors. A little feta or goat cheese would make a nice addition to this salad as well.  YIELD: 4 servings INGREDIENTS Citrus Vinaigrette  1 small shallot peeled and coarsely chopped  1 teaspoon orange zest  1/2 cup fresh orange juice 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard 1 tablespoon honey [...]

Written by: Brandi Jeter Even picky preschoolers love Rockit™ apple! Find out how to help your picky eater in this sponsored post. Do you have a preschooler who is a picky eater? So do I! It's so hard to hear people talk about their little ones eating anything that's put in front of them when my guy has about 3 foods that we keep on rotation. Pear and Bacon Grilled Cheese Sandwich with a Parmesan Crust

2020-08-13T21:04:26+00:00

Created by: Meg Raines Your classic grilled cheese sandwich just got an adult makeover. We combined juicy pears with salty bacon and herbed goat cheese for the ultimate sweet and savory sandwich experience. And to gild the lily a bit more we grilled it in Parmesan for an extra crunchy tanginess. We used a Bosc pear in this recipe because of its firmness, but a Bartlett pear would be equally delicious.  YIELD: 2 sandwiches INGREDIENTS  6 strips of bacon 4 ounces of soft goat cheese 1 teaspoon honey 1 teaspoon chopped thyme, or other herb of choice 1 Bosc or Bartlett pear, [...]

2020-08-11T22:52:17+00:00

Summer meals are about farm fresh produce and grilling outside. And surprisingly, adding a serving of healthy fresh fruit to your barbecue is easier than you think. Let’s start with the barbecue sauce. Many versions of barbecue sauce are fruit-based to add a sweet complexity to a savory sauce. We came up with two versions of barbecue sauce featuring sweet cherries and another with our SugarBee® Apple Cider to give your grilled chicken the sticky finger treatment. YIELD: about 2 cups of sauce INGREDIENTS  1 cup SugarBee® apple cider  1 (6 oz.) [...]
