The easiest holiday appetizer! And the addition of the beautiful Lucy™ Rose apple makes these stunningly irresistible!
Ingredients
- 10 Medjool dates, pits removed
- 1 package garlic & herb soft cheese such as Boursin
- 2 Lucy™ Rose apples, sliced
- 2 packages thinly sliced prosciutto
- raw local honey
- 1/4 cup chopped pistachios
Instructions
- Oven to 400. Slice dates in half, and put 1-2 teaspoons of Boursin cheese into each. Place them on a baking sheet a couple of inches apart. Bake for 4-5 minutes just until they are melty and gooey.
- After they get out of the oven, top each with a slice of your beautiful Lucy Rose apple. Then, wrap a little slice of prosciutto around each. Don’t overdo it- let those apples shine through.
- Drizzle honey over each and then sprinkle chopped pistachios over all of them. Just before serving, feel free to drizzle with a little more honey, and top with a few more pistachios to make sure they stick. ENJOY!
